Change your registered office address

Moving your Hong Kong company’s registered office needs a short board resolution and Form NR1 filed with the Companies Registry within 15 days. Generate the resolution here, free.

When you need this document

Every Hong Kong company must maintain a registered office in Hong Kong — it’s where government mail and legal notices are served. When the address changes (new office, new service provider, or switching to a virtual office), the board resolves to change it and the company files Form NR1 within 15 days. The change is effective from the date stated, not from filing.
